What LUMA Radio & Podcasts is

LUMA Radio & Podcasts is a directory and player for publicly available internet radio streams and podcasts, plus a player for local audio and video files you choose on your own device. Core browsing and listening work without an account.

We do not own, host, produce, or control the radio stations, podcasts, or other third-party content you can reach through the app. Station and show listings come from public catalogues and publishers' own feeds. Streams may change, move, go offline, be geo-restricted, or stop working at any time without notice, and that is outside our control. Availability of any particular station, show, or programme schedule is never guaranteed.

Accounts

An account is optional and is only needed to purchase or restore premium and to sync your entitlement and preferences across devices. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Deleting your account permanently removes it and your premium entitlement record. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — subscriptions are managed by the app store that sold them and must be cancelled there separately (see below).

Premium subscriptions

Premium is an optional auto-renewable subscription offered as a monthly or yearly plan. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you confirm, and may vary by region.

• Billing. Payment is charged to your Google Play or Apple account at confirmation of purchase. We never receive or store your payment card details.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Free trial. Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the paid subscription begins automatically.
• Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in your store account settings — Google Play › Subscriptions, or Apple Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep premium until the end of the period you already paid for. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled by the store that processed the payment, under that store's policy. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases directly.
• Changes. We may change premium features or pricing. Price changes apply only from the next renewal, and the store will notify you and ask for consent where its rules require it.

Premium unlocks features within the app itself. It does not grant rights to any third-party content, and it does not remove restrictions imposed by a station or publisher.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app to break the law or infringe anyone's rights. In particular, do not use podcast download or local-media features to copy, redistribute, publish, or commercially exploit content you do not have the right to use. Downloads are provided for personal, private listening where the source permits it, and it is your responsibility to respect the terms of the publisher or media owner.

You also agree not to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the app or its supporting services, or to access them by automated means beyond normal app use.

Your own content and files

Local audio and video files you play, folders you choose, and podcast episodes you download stay on your device unless you move them yourself. We do not claim ownership of them.

Availability, changes, and termination

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the app or any part of it. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes where practical. We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms.

These Terms may be updated as the app evolves; the date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the app or any stream will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in your region.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the app or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for premium in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects the statutory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.

Apple and Google

These Terms are between you and the developer of LUMA Radio & Podcasts, not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content, and have no obligation to provide support for it. Where you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
