# Luma Radio Privacy Policy

Luma Radio is designed as a local-first radio and podcast app. This policy explains what the app uses and what may be shared with third-party services while the app is running.

## Information Stored On Your Device

Luma Radio may store the following locally on your device:

- Favorite radio stations
- Subscribed podcasts
- Saved, downloaded, or in-progress podcast episodes
- App theme, display, sort, and playback preferences
- Default country setting
- Recording and podcast download folder paths or folder permissions
- Cached station and podcast metadata

This information is used to make the app work and to keep your preferences between sessions.

## Network Services

Luma Radio connects to public services to provide content:

- Radio Browser for radio station search, station metadata, tags, and countries.
- Apple/iTunes podcast search and podcast RSS feeds for podcast discovery and playback metadata.
- IP-based country lookup providers to detect a local country for the Local Stations feature.
- Individual radio stream, podcast feed, image, and website hosts selected by the content provider.

These third-party services may receive normal technical information such as your IP address, device network details, request time, and requested URLs. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle that information.

## Recordings and Downloads

When recording or downloads are available and you choose to save audio, files are stored locally in the folder selected in the app or in the app's default storage location. Luma Radio does not upload your recordings or downloads.

You are responsible for following applicable copyright laws and the terms of the station or podcast provider when recording, downloading, or using saved audio.

## Personal Accounts

Luma Radio does not currently require an account and does not operate its own user database.

## Analytics and Advertising

The current app does not include first-party analytics or advertising SDKs. If analytics or ads are added later, this policy should be updated before release.

## Children

Luma Radio is a general-audience media app. It is not directed specifically to children.

## Data Deletion

Because app preferences are stored locally, you can delete them by clearing app data or uninstalling the app. Recordings and downloads saved outside the app may need to be deleted manually from the folder where they were saved.

## Changes

This privacy policy may be updated as the app evolves. The date at the top will change when the policy is revised.
